Project Samriddhi

Project Samriddhi (An Initiative under Anokha Dhaaga)

Project Samriddhi, under the larger umbrella of Anokha Dhaaga, is a dedicated initiative supported by Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) and implemented by Mahashakti Foundation to revive and sustain the traditional Dhokra metal craft of Dhenkanal. The project focuses on empowering tribal artisans from the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) and AA community through a blend of livelihood development, cultural preservation, and community upliftment.

Project Objective:

The core aim of Project Samriddhi is to create a sustainable ecosystem for the tribal artisans of Nuagaon and Nabajeevanpur villages by:
Enhancing Craftsmanship: Strengthening the artisans’ skillsets through expert-led training to ensure product quality aligns with modern market expectations.
Enabling Market Access: platforms and linkages that allow artisans to sell their crafts beyond local markets.

Promoting Government Convergence: Supporting artisans in accessing government schemes and entitlements to strengthen their socio-economic base.
