Project Sanskruti is an ongoing initiative supported by YES Foundation focused on the entrepreneurship development of rural handicraft artisans in Odisha. The project is dedicated to strengthening the creative and economic capacities of 500 artisans, with a special emphasis on women’s empowerment, skill upgradation, and the development of sustainable, community – based enterprises in the Balipatna and Balianta Blocks of Khurda District, Odisha. This initiative is centered around three traditional crafts – Pattachitra, Palm Leaf Painting's Pipili Appliqué.
The project targets a mix of skilled, semi-skilled, and non-skilled women artisans, enabling a holistic approach to inclusion and growth.
