SHG Digitization

Project E-Shakti – TARGETING ULTRA POOR PROGRAM

NABARD launched Project E-Shakti in association with Mahashakti Foundation for Digitization of all the members of Self Help Groups. Self-Help Groups (SHGs) are small voluntary associations of poor people, preferably from the same socio-economic background. They come together for the purpose of solving their common problems through self-help and mutual help. SHG promotes small savings among its members. Under Project E-Shakti, 240 SHGs have been selected. All the data of the SHGs have been digitized where the realstatus of each SHGs can be found under one dashboard. It will help the Banks & FIs to know the credit score of each SHGs & their members, so that they can disburse the loan without any delay.
