Response to Covid19 with Milaap
The Largest Lockdown in the World has helped saving several thousand lives, but it has also put India’s poorer population face-to-face with an existential crisis. The sudden economic disruption triggered by the lockdown left the daily wage labourers, small shop owners, migrants workers, street vendors jobless.
27 deeply and adversely affected women from Tarabha & Sonepur Districts are provided with a grant assistance of INR 2000/- by Mahashakti Foundation with the esteem support of Milaap, Bangalore at Tarabha NAC so that they can manage their livelihood during this period. A total of 91 women assisted by Milaap.
