Relief Work amid Flood

Heavy rain triggered by back-to-back low pressure over the Bay of Bengal has caused flooding in different districts across the state.
The horror of flood amid the Covid-19 pandemic is acting like a curse to the people of Odisha. The low lying areas across the state remained underwater for a number of days. Due to the swelling of Mahanadi & Paika rivers caused by excessive rains, several villages of Tirtol blocks of Jagatsinghpur districts are completely flooded. People are struggling for food and even drinking water.
Mahashakti Foundation with the esteem support of Smart Power India distributed relief materials to 600 Households at Kolar & Poragdei Gram Panchayats of Tirtol Block in Jagatsinghpur District. Mr. Jugal Kishore Pattnayak – CEO Mahashakti Foundation and Mr. Mohan K Baliyarsingh – Director Mahashakti Foundation, graced the event.
