The Agrahichasi Farmer Producer Organization was established in the Golamunda Block of Kalahandi District, Odisha, as a direct response to the hardships faced by the local farming community. 

Sesha Seth, a 70-year-old farmer from Banjidunguri village in Bijepur block, was honoured as the best millet farmer in September 2023. His journey into millet farming began only a few years ago.

Sabita Behera, a 35-year-old artisan from Kakarudrapur village, is scripting a remarkable transformation through Project Samriddhi implemented by MF with the support of TPCODL.

Implemented by Mahashakti Foundation with the support of Vedanta Limited, Lanjigarh, this initiative has brought remarkable change to the lives of girl students at Shree Jagannath High School in Jodabandh village, Lanjigarh block, Kalahandi district.The school, catering to over 400 students in grades 8 to 10, has approximately 150 girl students.

Ranjan Nayak, a disabled tribal man from Bankataila in Takra Gram Panchayat, has endured an incredibly challenging life. Tragedy struck when he lost his wife, leaving him physically and emotionally shattered.As his family fractured under the weight of personal struggles, his son and daughter separated from him, leaving Ranjan to fend for himself.

Sabita Rana, a resident of Chakuli village in Sambalpur, is a shining example of how determination, paired with timely support, can transform lives.She lives with her family of six, including her husband, a skilled pottery artisan whose craft contributes modestly to their household income.Despite their hard work, the family’s financial struggles were significant.
