Since its beginning, Mahashakti has been instrumental in empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving employment market. It offers a variety of training programs and workshops tailored to the needs of diverse populations, including youth, artisans, unemployed homemakers, and low-income generating households. These programs cover a wide range of skills, including vocational training, life camps for children, capacity-building workshops, exposure visits, digital literacy, and soft skills such as communication and teamwork. Through innovative training methods, hands-on learning experiences, and industry partnerships, we equip participants with the tools and confidence to secure employment, advance their careers, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
In one of our successful project completions, tailoring and jute-making training was provided to Ujjwala beneficiaries by developing a separate skill development center with the help of Skill Development of India (SDI) and Indian Oil Corp. (IOCL). We organize numerous exposure visits for our FPO farmers, which are an essential part of their curriculum. In collaboration with the OASIS Movement, we plan training camps for children and employees. With the support of the YES Foundation, Mahashakti organized a skill training program for female artisans. The program provides artisans with hands-on training in weaving techniques, as well as instruction on design, quality control, and marketing. For MSF, each project is different in its own way, and we design our skill-building workshops accordingly. By empowering individuals with skills and opportunities for personal and professional growth, the organization plays a crucial role in building a more inclusive and prosperous society.
