This project aims to promote and conserve the ethnic art and culture of the State of Odisha through market-led intervention based on the approach of Collaboration, Convergence, and formation of Self- self-reliant institutions of the Artisans in Sustainable manner. The project is rechristened as Samriddhi (An initiative Under Anokha Dhaaga)
Objectives
1. Preservation and Revival of Patachitra and Palm Leaf Carving Art Forms
2. Promotion of local art and craft for sustainable income generation for the local artisans through comprehensive capacity building through market-led intervention.
3. To develop a self-reliant, sustainable and economically prosperous institution of artisans.
4. Facilitating the access of government artisan entitlement & schemes.
5. Creating consciousness among the artisans on the usage of environmentally friendly raw materials and climate-resilient actions.
6. Identify accessible skills to enhance employability and entrepreneurship in rural areas.
7. Create the Ecosystem for Collaboration and Convergence with like-minded stakeholders for multiplication of the success of the program in a time-boundmanner.
Program Operational Area – The project has a defined area of operation which is Kakarudrapur and Prataprudrapur of Balianta Block, Khordha (Odisha) whereas this project has entered into 2nd Phase of project implementation. Through hub and spoke model, 240 artisans mostly women and differently abled persons have been covered under this project.

3.Income of the artisans increased by 50%
4.Remunerative prices ensured through collective marketing.
As per baseline data monthly income of 34% artisans was Rs.1,000/- per month, 48% artisans monthly income was Rs.2,000/- to Rs.5,000/- per month and 18% of the artisans monthly income was > Rs.5,000/-. Those artisans whose income was Rs.1,000/- per month has been increased by more than two and half times. Others, the income has been increased by 50%.
