They say, “The journey is always more memorable than the destination.” I want to underline the essence of this adage. First, I extend my gratitude and congratulations to each member of the Mahashakti family for achieving two decades of relentless dedication to the social and financial upliftment of the underserved. For me personally, this journey has been both uplifting and humbling. It has been more than three decades since I began as a novice in this field, and even after all these years, I am still learning the nuances of this work.

It is immensely gratifying that what began as a spark of motivation has grown into a lifelong passion and service. The mission of development and poverty eradication may appear unrealistic to some, but the challenges and successes along the way make each milestone meaningful. These words may sound self-congratulatory, but I believe this moment is indeed one of celebration. Starting with just 100 families and reaching over 200,000 households in the rural, impoverished sections of Odisha is a deeply satisfying achievement.

I take this occasion as a moment to renew our commitment to the mission and vision of Mahashakti, and I vow to uphold the moral principles that define our organization. I urge all members, friends, and beneficiaries to work with even greater resolve and unity as we strive to alleviate poverty and secure financial stability for the marginalized. Lastly, I extend my heartfelt thanks and respect to our mentors and advisors, our guiding lights, without whom this journey would have been lifeless and the efforts in vain.
